Details
FAG spindle bearings are single-row, angular contact ball bearings that cannot be dismantled. They have solid inner and outer rings as well as ball-and-cage assemblies with solid window cages. Due to their extremely tight tolerances, they are particularly suitable for applications that require high guidance accuracy and suitability for high speeds. Spindle bearings are commonly used for main spindles in machine tools. This bearing type has seals on both sides, and small steel balls. The bearing has an internal design with optimised friction and the balls are subjected to very low centrifugal forces. Even at very high speeds, a high degree of rigidity is maintained. FAG spindle bearings are designed as universal bearings. Universal bearings with the same deviation in inner ring bore and outer diameter can be combined for use in different arrangements. E : 25° Contact Angle, T : Textile Laminated Phenolic Resin, Outer Ring Guided, P4S : Boundary Dimensions ISO 4, Abec-7, Running Accuracy ISO 2, Abec-9.
